Description
A deep milled solid brass or satin silver anodised aluminium plaque is mounted onto a solid mahogany backing board before being fitted to a heavy duty black powder coated ground stake. The plaque is mounted on a 45 degree angle for easier viewing.
Your plaque will be engraved with the wording you choose and we can also incorporate simple graphic elements into your design too. Engraving Studios provide a copy of the design for your approval as part of the order process free of charge.
Each garden memorial features a 620mm long, 2mm thick, heavy duty black powder coated steel stake made from quality UK steel. Our mahogany backing boards are finished with two coats of OSMO UV oil; with the purpose of preserving the wood's natural tone and slowing the natural ageing process, it offers UV protection that outperforms untreated wood by a factor of 12. We recommend reapplying a protective oil to maintain the appearance of the mahogany.
Your engraved lettering is deeply engraved into the surface of the plaque and then infilled with black paint for ultimate legibility – our pricing includes unlimited engraving.
Available in two sizes of plaque 6" x 3" and 8" x 6" (shown in the photography) - the mahogany backing boards are approximately 7" x 4" and 9" x 7"
Frequently Asked Questions
The choice of font really depends on the size of plaque and amount wording as we have to maintain minimum tool sizes as part of the milling process.
If there's a specific font or style you'd like pop a note on the order and when the design is prepared we'll do our utmost to accommodate,
you will of course get a design emailed over for approval before production begins.
We don't charge extra for this under most circumstances. Please send a copy of your logo along with details of the plaque size and any other engraving - we'll take a look to ensure we can accommodate it and confirm.
Our items are made to order, you'll receive a design of your order to approve within 24 hours (Monday to Friday), once you give us approval to proceed your finished order will take two working days to produce and send.
